Parent feedback: Francine's teaching style

After my son had been coming to Creative Connections for only a couple of months I already saw progress in his reading and a renewed confidence in learning new things. Francine clearly recongnizes that not all children learn at the same speed or in the same manner. Her energetic and methodical approach to teaching is reflective of her passion for assisting children to learn and grow.

From Tony May, Father of 2nd grader at CCLC
(written September 2003)

Tony's son is now in the 3rd grade. I started tutoring him at the end of first grade when he had trouble with the word "and". He is now reading words from the newspaper like "contamination" and "astonishment". I am so excited by his progress and love giving him high-fives on his request. He knows when he's reading hard words and is motivated by his progress weekly.
